Precious Bandit and Daisy!
Dearest Bandit and Daisy, you are absolutely adorable, precious indeed! What a gorgeous pair of kitty pals you are. Your tight friendship just shines in these great photos, and thanks for sharing them with us. You both have beautiful, soft-looking Tuxedo fur and the sweetest faces with such looks of contentment in those lovely big eyes. I wish I could reach through the screen and over to North Attleboro, Mass. to pet you both! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you for me .
And what a delightful story you have to tell! Although you aren't actually siblings, you get along as though you were, grooming each other, play-fighting, then making up to chase each other around the house, and then flying through the air into your "outdoor catio" that Dad made you, where you can "stalk" chipmunks and birds without actually harming them. I know some cats who have catios, and they love them!
Bandit, your previous adopted brother Teddy went to the Rainbow Bridge at a young age due to cancer, and your dear Purrrsons went around to the shelters and found you a new playmate, Daisy. We thank them for adopting shelter cats! You two are excellent examples of the fine friends to be found in shelters. Daisy, you soon made it clear you are the alpha cat, and you're often called Daisy Diva. You both and they all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Bandit and Daisy, on being chosen today's Cats of the Day! We hope you and your dear Purrrsons and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats. We know that Teddy Angel and all the Angels are rejoicing with you at the Bridge!
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
