    The best breed of Dog

I think that Dobermans are the best breed of dogs. They are big babies they love to be with you at all times, are loyal, affectionate, and very protective of you. Dobermans are active love to take walks, play, ride in the car,go for swims anything you do.
Dobermans have a nice short coat and are easy to care for.

Dobermans ARE wonderful dogs. I absolutely love them. My mom has a 95 pound red male and he is the BIGGEST baby in the world! He shivers when it's cold and has to be tucked in under the covers. When I dogsit him for my mom at my house, he whines until she comes to pick him up. All you have to do is look at him and he comes over to you and lays his big head in your lap until you scratch his ears. If you don't want to pet him and you are sitting with your feet up he will put his head next to your feet in hopes that you will wiggle them which in turn rubs his head . I just adore this dog. Whenever I see him and I get him all razzed up and he lets out this huge whine/growl/howl combination. It really pisses my mom off but OH WELL. Gotta talk to my 95 pound buddy! As for all of the other wonderful dogs of the world... I love them to. I have a very hard time picking a a favorite breed. Besides, sometimes mutts make the best dogs! My two girls are lab mixes and the best dogs to ever come into my life

I love all breeds. My dog is a mutt. I have found some breeds to not be as smart as others or not as sweet. Some actually kind of scare e if I cross them while walking my dog. I really like Terriers and goldens but have never had one. Actually I have never had a full breed dog ever.

    Another hard question.

For me I probably have no breed preference
accept possibly leaning towards the GSD
if it wasn't for their medical problems
    and their shedding.

I do not own any mixes at this time,
but If I had to choose my favorite
dog off all time, I would say
    my GSD/Lab mix.

In my book, you can't beat a GSD!!

Su, Killian and Shiloh (2 rescued GSDs)!

OK, I give up!! I've been a dog/lover owner all my life; I even work part-time at a kennel. But I CAN'T figure out what a GSD is!
German Shep? Gorden Setter? Help! I love all breeds, but must say I am partial to large breeds. I have always owned "All American" rescues, except for my lab Star, who was a special gift after the loss of my precious "Jingles," the best dog that ever lived. She was what I think is one of the best mixes: Yellow lab and Golden. I love and miss you "Jing." Be good to all the kids at the Rainbow Bridge!

    GSD = German Shepherd Dog

(As opposed to a shepherd who happens to be from Germany!)

I also think the Dobermans are the best dogs. My mom used to breed dobermans when I was growing up. Our Doberman 'Red' (a red doberman)was my best friend and my protecter. I love them so much that I want to breed them when I grow up

I agree that Dobermans are the best dog breed. It is either Dobermans or mutts for me. Dobermans are so smart, beautiful and loyal. The only negative is the docking of the ears (which I would never do again) and tail.

I'm getting boring, I know, but Greyhounds are top all rounders for me. I have trained some cracking GSD's too.
