Marvelous Milby!
Dearest Milby, what a beautiful fellow you are, a gorgeous Tuxedo kitty indeed! Your fur looks so soft and you look so dapper in those great photos, and thank you for posting them. What a sweet face you have, with the two-tone nose and the little black mustache and those lovely big golden eyes. I love that tight closeup shot! I wish I could reach through the screen and all the way around the world and Down Under to the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia to pet you, and pet your kitty housemate, too! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Mum and guardian will pet you both for me .
And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! We are so very glad your dear Mum stole you from her step-brother, who was supposedly your owner but lost all interest a few days later. Now you live the kind of life you've deserved all along! You make Mum smile with your antics and energy. You wake her each day by either kissing her nose or biting it. You sleep on her near her head, even balancing on her shoulder when she's on her side. (My cat Poppy sometimes does that with me.) You're very smart and cheeky. If you don't get your way, you knock her rock-display rocks off the desk to the floor, and then if that doesn't get her attention, you jump onto something tall and unstable and bring it crashing down. You and she, and your kitty housemate no doubt, all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Milby, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Mum and kitty housemate and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
