    Storms in the South

Southern states have been experiencing strong spring storms, with people being killed and total destruction.
Counties west of us are under tornado warnings for this afternoon and evening.
The sky is already very ominous looking.
We are under a flood watch, which means heavy rains.
I went through the garden and took lots of pictures in case everything will be destroyed.
I also got all the cat carriers ready, in case we have to rush to the basement.
Please keep your fingers crossed that that everybody will be ok!

Ugh, it doesn't sound good at all. I hope you and your kitties will stay safe and dry. Sending lots of positive thoughts to you all.

You didn't say in your profile where you are... is it North Carolina?

    PS. keep your camera dry!

Sorry! Yes, I'm in North Carolina.
Thank you for your concern. Clover, who is very afraid of storms, has been hiding all day. I know he can feel them coming.

We are sending along wishes and prayers that all will be well for you all.

Yes, here in the Upstate of SC, we are experiencing rain with flash flood warnings and tornado watches. SO far so good today. And tomorrow is cool again but warmer the rest of the week.

    I hope all are safe.

We were lucky and only got heavy rains. One of our neighboring counties got hit much harder with an actual tornado. One person was killed, and there are still power outages. All schools in this area were closed today.
