What wonderful news! That's great, dearest Zazou!

Enjoy your Y/D. It's good for you!

Zazou doesn't want to eat anymore again.... ! So we've decided to give her the old food again!
Yesterday she ate only 20g during the whole day.......

I'm so sorry. With Fister, the appetite stimulant also only worked for a while. Keep her as comfortable as you can and see if you can you make drink, at least. I'm sending positive thoughts to your dear Zazou - and hugs to you.

    Yes!
As from Tuesday this week, Zazou stopped eating again. Every day there was ate less and less...
Yesterday we saw that she stayed in her basket all day, only left it for a visit to the litterbox...
So we went to the DA for maybe another injection.
He indeed gave her an injectie with cortisone.
Guess what: barely 2 hours later she came begging for food!! And then she ate it all up!!
    Hurray for Zazou

Of course it's only for maximum 3 to 4 weeks, but we are happy to still have her with us during this days!!

Her "revival" was a rather short one.... . as from Tuesday toon, Zazou stopped eating once more....
Yesterday she tried several times to hide for us..... ! We are sure she is looking for a good place to go to die....
Around 5 pm we couldn't find her anywhere..... ! Only 2 hours later she did it again....
This morning same thing: no eating... ; we gave her permissie to go and rest on our bed, and she stayed there almost 8 hours!
Then she ate a tiny big (6g) and went into hiding
    again....
    Pffff

I'm so sorry, Lut. It does sound like she is ready to go.

Yes, let her sleep on your bed if that's what she wants... anything you can to keep her comfortable. See if you can make her drink a little, even if you have to use a syringe, but give it very slowly.

Did the vet give her anything for pain?

Sending lots of comforting thoughts and kisses to Zazou - and hugs to you.

No he didn't. We don't think she is in pain, she is so weak because her résistance is very low now.
She has a cold too now, which makes her sneeze a lot....
    If she is like this tomorrow too, we might get her to the vet...... ;
This is soooooo difficult and hard to decide....!
How will we be sure she needs help to get her to the bridge......??

Oh, dear, Lut, you and she will be in our prayers. I know it sounds trite, and non-helpful, but she will let you know if she needs help crossing the Rainbow Bridge. She seems to have two paws already on it, the wee girl. Sending you all hugs.
