Holiday Thursday #703! It's beginning to feel A LOT like Christmas!

You can tell it getting closer to Christmas.... I went to run an errand and I could see that the parking lots to the malls and stores have more cars in the parking lot.

How's about some tamales and hot chocolate?

The Orc has been making tamales since yesterday...

We have red and green chicken, beef and green pork tamales. There are also sweet tamales - pineapple, walnut and raisin, too.

Pull up a seat, I'll stoke the fire - Time for S'mores?- and how's about a Christmas movie on the big screen?

The Charlie Brown Christmas special is the player?

    Anyone?

Hot cocoa, smore's and a warm place by the fire sound great to me. Been feeling a bit punky lately. Feeling my age and dreading the challenges of a new year.

Beginning to look like Christmas here. Snow has been falling since 11 am. I've got water on for tea.

Snow has stayed and it's DANG cold! Getting over a nasty cold so some tea with lemon and honey on the side would be perfect, thanks!

P.S. At 10 minutes after 9 am the temp is 2F with a wind chill of -16F!

Here's your tea, careful, it's very hot!

It was cold but I still managed to run 4 miles (6.47 km). Thanks to all who shovelled their walks!

Holy smokes, made Jamaican rum pudding today. Tomorrow lemon meringue tarts...then Christmas Day. I am going to try and look as hot as possible and enjoy the family. Kinda sorry the two Jamaican peeps in our family won't be there to critique the pud, as they would most surely be the best judges eh? Wishing every Pet Talker, old and new and all persons and animals the happiest of holidays and the very best in the coming Mew Year!

I've had beef stew in the slow cooker since this afternoon - anyone want some? Tomorriw there will be gingerbread cookies and tollhouse as well.

I don't have to cook today. We'll be going to a family dinner tonight, and I can eat as much I want to, because I just got home from a 4-mile walk at a nearby lake.
It was beautiful, peaceful and deserted, maybe because it was 33F with a windchill in the twenties?
A very Merry Christmas to everybody at Pettalk, all the sweet animals and
    everyone around the world!
