    Cole's diabetes...

    ...is officially in remission!

    I did a glucose curve on him yesterday and emailed it in to my vet. She called me today and said no more insuliin.

    I do have to do a recheck after 72 hours to make sure his levels are ok, as well as keeping an eye out for weight loss and increased urination.

    With Heidi's Monroe being so ill I didn't really want to post this...but some good news is always welcome, and hopefully it will spread to Monroe as well.

    Cole had no insulin Wednesday night and has been off it since then. Today (Saturday) I took a pre-breakfast glucose level and it was 7.8. Nice!

    He's also much less likely to eat Oscar and Zoe's food in addition to his own.
