    Eddie, our dude

I'm sure I wasn't the only one who burst out laughing at the image of Eddie nonchalantly lounging in the blinds this morning! (The lampshade photo has to be a very close second)😅

What a handsome devil he is! Your good looks are just before that playful streak you show off so well, Eddie.

What a perfect choice for our daily feline fix. Eddie, enjoy your glorious status today and maybe, just maybe we will be treated to some more hilarious photos of you in action!

Get lots of attention and treats today!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    Eddie,

You are a handsome boy! I enjoyed your story and pictures (my cats don't let blinds get in their way either!). You sound like a real sweetheart. I'm glad you have a great forever home.

Congratulations on being Cat of the Day!

Congratulations on being honoured as Cat of the Day, Eddie! Loved seeing your photos.

What a handsome tabby boy you are! Your coat and green eyes are beautiful, and you have the sweetest face!

I’m so sorry your mom lost Frisky, but what good timing that you were born the very same day, and your mom picked you. I think Frisky sent you for comfort. Thanks to your mom’s sister for feeding the feral kitties and socialising you.

You knocked everything down to begin with, but soon after you got a companion to play with and the two of you get on very well. How lucky your mom is to have an affectionate boy like you to give her head bumps - you put a smile on he face every day.

Enjoy a day of fun and celebration with Eli and your family, get some extra treats and lots of love. I wish you a long, happy and healthy life, sweetie!

Dearest Eddie, what a gorgeous guy you are! You're such a handsome brown-black tabby with lovely pale green eyes. And what great photos, and thank you for sharing. You don't let minor obstacles like blinds or lampshades hinder you in your explorations, do you! I wish I could reach through the screen and over to Belfast, ME to pet you,and pet your pal Eli, too. I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you both for me .

And what a heartwarming, wonderful story you have to tell! You came to your dear Purrrson to help bring comfort after her/his loss of beloved Frisky. You were born to a feral mom the same day that he died. Your Purrrson's sister was feeding the feral colony and socialized the kittens enough that your Purrrson thought you didn't seem feral at all. You've been at your Furrrever home ever since! You enjoyed attacking feet and knocking things around as a kitten and still do at times. 13 months later Eli joined the family as your new buddy. You make your dear Purrrson smile every day, and you give the best head bumps! You and he/she and Eli all love each other very much, don't you. What a delightful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Eddie, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and Eli and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

Dear Eddie, what a handsome tabby boy you are. You look so soft, and you have the sweetest face.
I'm sorry that your purrson lost Frisky, but you came along just in time to comfort him/her.
You are making sure that everything in the house is in order, including blinds and lampshades. Sometimes you still attack feet and knock things of the coffee table. You also like to be under the covers, even when it's hot.
Eddie, you are one special kitty, and I wish you, Eli and your family a great day full of celebration and many more happy and healthy years together.

What makes Eddie special is that he is so loving! Eddie was born to a feral momma the very day that I had to have my first cat, Frisky put to sleep. He was born in a feral colony that my sister was feeding and she mentioned it to me. I told her that I wanted a kitten when they were old enough. My sister spent time socializing the kittens so that when I went to pick Eddie out, he didn't seem feral at all. He checked out healthy at the vet's office and is a very sweet boy!

When he was a kitten, Eddie attacked my feet and loved knocking everything off the coffee table. He still does that at times. Even on hot days, I will find him under the covers. Thirteen months after I brought home, Eddie, I adopted a companion for him, Eli, and they get along well. Eddie makes me smile every day and gives the best head bumps around. Eddie is not shy around strangers, but saves all his affection for me and just a few others.
Hello, Eddie, handsome tabby fellow! And hello, kitty brother Eli!

Dear Eddie, I smiled when I read about how you liked to knock things off the table and occasionally still do! You sleep under the covers, even on warm days. You keep everything in order at your house, including the blinds and lamp shade! You give the best head bumpies and affection! You make your favorite people smile every day, purr-fect!

Happy, happy Cat of the Day to dear Eddie and love to Eli too!

Oh Eddie, such an irreverent rougue indeed. Quite the number on the lamp shade, well done. Our Lily is the same the coffee table is huge but there is nothing on it as it has been cleared too many times. Untolled damage everywhere. I guess Eddie just knows that life is about enjoying himself and that every opportunity to do so, will and should be taken. No matter what. Sure would love an Eddie head bump however..... excellent COTD!

    Eddie is the One!

Hi Eddie! Happy Cat of the Day!

What a handsome boy you are, Eddie, and oh my, talk about personality packed! I laughed out loud the second I set eyes on your iconic "blinds" shot! You must be related to my friend Connie's boy, Chuck! He's a blinds destroyer par excellence! Well, I love all of your photos sweetheart. Seeing them put the biggest smile on my face!

As others have said, I can't believe it was coincidence that you were born the very day your mom's beloved Frisky earned her/his angel wings! Not a doubt in my mind she/he had a paw in sending your mom to you, knowing that her heart would need healing, that you would be in need of loving furever home! And what a heavenly match it turned out to be! And with the addition of Eli, your mom's furry family was complete! How blessed she is, having a beautiful, loyal and loving best furkid in you, sweetheart! You're a treasure, and so very deserving of you big day of honor!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, sweetheart! Meeting you has been the perfect end to my day Hope you're enjoying a very special day of celebration, playing with brother Eli, cuddling under the covers, being loved and pampered to pieces! Lots of love, cuddles and kisses to you, precious Eddie, our very special and most deserving Cat of the Day, EVERY day! Love to dear Eli, too!

    What a scamp!!!

eta: I remember a few years ago my husband and I were walking the dogs and when we turned the corner I started laughing and couldn't stop. He looked at me quizzicality and all I could do was point. I pointed to a house where on the 2nd story was a window that had blinds in disarray, looking just like the ones Eddie was hanging in!😂😂😂.

Clearly a home that had a cat!
