    A captive audience

Finally, Olive found a few friends admiring her. She usually gets on everybody's nerves because she likes to wait around the corner to pounce on anybody who is available.

Oh, my! Talk about basking in the limelight! Among so many admirers there, too.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

    What a cute audience!

Has she tried to pounce on any of them? Does the golden cat move it's paw?

Amazingly, nobody is bothering them. And yes, the golden kitty is moving its paw. As you probably know, it's a maneki neko, a "beckoning cat", a Japanese lucky charm. This one is supposed to be battery operated, but it doesn't work, so it waves whenever there's airflow.

Sweet Olive, I would be glad to have you pounce on me any time! Meowmie's collection of kitties is very nice!
