Thursday #690 Field Trip to the Beach!

We haven't had a field trip Thursday in a while.

I think a beach trip is in order!

I'll have the Orc pull the car around and I'll make some sandwiches for the road!

I have some left over fireworks that we can shoot off, too!

    Get your swim suits out!!

    Done!!

We can't really go to the beach here what shame. Seems like everyone in the lower mainland is there on a nice day and we can never find a place to park. We go on cloudy days, much more fun, less sweat

It's a pretty nice day for the beach today in Chicago- not too humid and it's not raining!

There is a plan being suggested in Chicago to somehow reconfigure Lake Shore Drive so Oak Street beach is farther away from the road. Safer for people using the beach and the lakefront bicycle/running path. The Army Corps of Engineers would apparently have to fill in part of the lake to make the place where the beach would go. But the city and state are so broke, I can't imagine how they would make it happen. We'll see what happens.
