From Catland to Geriatric ward in such a short time.

I know my furbabies are getting older, but I got the big reality shocker this week when I found out my Joxer, who's almost 15, has intestinal cancer. He was the only one who wasn't on any kind of meds so this really hit me hard. The vet isn't sure how fast its progressing yet so I don't really have a timeline. I was noticing that he was losing weight and eating less (this is the boy who never passed up a meal!), so now he's on prednizone which is supposed to help with inflammation and also act as an appetite stimulant so he now gets all the canned food his little heart desires, which he really likes.

So now we have Jan with the thyroid medicine, Strauss with the eyedrops, and Joxer with his predizone.

    Every day is a gift.

These are not the droids you were looking for

We are sending our prayers and loving good wishes and warm energies to your kitties and you.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear this. I hope Joxer is not in pain. Glad that he can eat his wet food.

Give him lots of love and keep him comfortable, and Jan and Strauss, too!

Sending lots of positive thoughts to them all and hugs to you!
