Last night my sweet little girl, Sophie, suffered a stroke. She seemed to be semi-paralyzed and could hardly walk. I gated her in my kitchen to keep her safe from stairs, but she got out 4 times. By the 4th time, I said to heck with it, and put her in her sleeping spot on my bed. She rested her little head in my hand and went to sleep.
At 3am, I woke up to find her sitting up, walking normally, and acting like nothing was ever wrong. I know this is not going to be permanent. This is just temporary, and is buying her a little more time with me here.
Please say a prayer and keep Sophie in your thoughts. She is the sweetest little thing ever. She's between the ages of 15 and 17, and was found wandering the streets of Bethlehem, PA, when I lived there, and no one could touch her. I sat down, she came up to me, crawled into my lap and fell asleep. She was meant to be with me. That was so many years ago.
Thank you for any good thoughts and prayers in advance.
