    Spring and your Dog!

Has you dog started its annual spring "big shed" yet? I remember my Husky nephew - when it started, my brother would brush him outside and say it looked like a pillow exploded in his yard! One year he brushed hum on the porch and collected a whole brown shopping bag full of fur from one session, and did the same thing the next day!

My first dog, Sheba, was a Shepherd/Doberman, so would shed heavily in the spring, but nothing like Nilla did!

Shedding is not part of my dogs' life. No worries, the 7 cats do MORE than enough!

Already had 2 ticks this year, one on Willy, one on Tasha.

Oh, and do your dogs get more energetic in spring? Or no change until the serious summer heat kicks in?

My Jake isn't too bad in the shedding department but Layla, that's another story! I have learned the meaning of blowing coat!

Bear's big spring shed is a trip to the groomer. Before and after.
