    Kasimir, what a cutie you are - and I think your neatly curled tail is adorable, and nothing to be ashamed of, or separated from the rest of the chinchillas about! I am glad that, even if your path was rather winding, you finally ended up in your forever home, with someone who loves you, and knows what a cuddly, sweet boy you are! I bet it is really fun to see you bounce around at okay time, I am sure those big back legs pack a lot of force! You are not just adorable, Kasimir - I bet your fur is just as soft as the fabric you share your name with! Congratulations, cutie, you are Pet of the Day for the whole world to celebrate!

I've known a few other chinchilla parents and their chinchillas lived very happily without any companions (ditto for all pets in loving homes). You're perfect as you are!
