Is it blue and black, or white and gold?

Every time I see this it looks different to me. Sometimes blue and black, sometimes white and gold. It looks different on TV than on the computer, too. Doesn't matter to me because I can't wear anything that form-fitting.

It, like many things, looks different in different lighting. Humans are funny to be so obsessed with this!

I think because this is an extreme case of metamerism (colors appearing different under different lighting) This is why when you pick out paint chips you need to match the lighting in your house, or that lovely teal might turn into a muddy green.

What makes it funny to me is that my co-workers looking at the same photo at the exact same time each saw different colors.

I once bought a pair of pants that changed color in the bag, on the way home from the mall.

They were gray when they were in the store and turned tan somewhere on the trip home.

Funny, since I don't drink and shop.....

Someone mentioned this about that dress/photo.

Look at it straight on, then move at an angle to your monitor/screen?
