    Lovely Luscious Lexie

    What an adorable kitten you were, Lexie - that first picture of you is priceless! How silly your family was told you were a boy - you look all lady to me! We are so glad you were smart enough to communicate so clearly with your family, too! Sure, you maybe be half Norwegian "Forest" Cat - but that doesn't mean you wanna live in one! Wanting to be with your people is also testament to what a sweetheart you are. It is neat that, although it took a long time, you are now such a plush, fluffy beauty, and your grey fur looks as silvery soft as a cloud. Congratulation, Lexie, you are Cat of the Day for the whole world to celebrate!

    Oh, dearest Lexie, you are gorgeous! What an adorable kitten you were.. and what a stunning lady you grew up to be, with that beautiful grey fur, so fluffy, so soft-looking, and those lovely golden eyes so full of contentment. I wish I could reach through the screen over to Umeå, Sweden to pet you! And I'd love to hear you "mjoffing" at me.. I'd scratch your ears all you want! Well, since I can't reach you, I know your loving and beloved Meowmie will pet you and scratch your ears for me .

    And what a delightful Purrrrsonality you have! You made it clear right from the start that you are not an outdoor kitty, except to go out on the balcony on clear, calm summer days. (Smart girl! There are many dangers outside for cats.) You wait at the door for Meowmie to get home from work, when you greet her like a dog, mjoffing at her and wagging your tail. You bring your Purrrents great joy every day. Meowmie would never give you up, in spite of the cat allergy she has developed. What a wonderful love-filled home you all share!

    Congratulations, darling Lexie, on being selected today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Purrrents and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

    Oh, what a precious wee one you were, what a stunning young lady you've grown up to be!!! How lucky your mommy is, having been blessed with a "first ever" kitty as beautiful and joyful and fun loving as you, Lexi! And props to you, putting your paw down, insisting that YOU live a life of luxury and comfort, safe and warm and dry...indoors! We wouldn't expect anything less for a girl as regal as yourself! hehe And having a mother from Norway, and a father from Sweden, I had to laugh when I read that you, a Norwegian Forest Cat, was living in Umeå, Sweden, with Swedish parents! (Scandinavians will understand!) Regardless, you sure are one much pampered puss, living the good life, and deservedly so, Lexi! Any family would feel blessed, having a furkid as special as you to call their very own!

    Thanks for warming my day with your sweet self, and all of those precious photos! Meeting you was the perfect ending to my day!
