    Breast Cancer

I am posting to ask for happy thoughts for myself this time...back in September I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I finished round one of chemo a week before Christmas and started round two yesterday. I was a nervous wreck about round two as it is a treatment a week for 12 weeks, but it is a different drug, much lower dose, fewer side effects and the ones it has are more manageable than those from round one. If all goes as planned (positive thinking, all WILL go as planned! ) my surgery will be April 20...so if you can spare some happy thoughts I would appreciate it. I have an awesome group of family and friends already but I know what PTers can do with happy thoughts so it doesn't hurt to ask....thanks everyone!!!

Prayers and good wishes are coming your way from us.

I'm a breast cancer survivor myself! I had a mastectomy in 1985. It was caught early, before it could start to spread, and I've had no recurrence since.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Prayers on the way for you, and if folks could add my childhood buddy Barbara W., (Bunny) she started chemo today! She and I were Bluebirds together when we were in Kindergarten, many years ago. We have many Cancer-vivors on Pet Talk, we pray you will join this exclusive group!

My buddy Bunny's daughter told her to think of the Chemotherapy as tiny Ninjas in there to kick cancer's butt, so when you feel yucky, you know the battle is being fought!
