    That is a mighty big name to live up to, Aslan, and we are glad you have grown into a very big fluffy guy to match! Those baby pictures of you are just adorable, and it is obvious your Dad fell in love the moment you met, even before your eyes were open! You obviously take after your Dad in the size department, maybe that is why you and your twin were the only ones in your litter! But we can see your kitty mom's genes at work, too, in those round eyes and sweet face! What a perfect blend of breeds you are, but even more important, we can tell you are a much loved boy - and that is most important of all! Congratulations, Aslan, it is your big day - you are Cat of the Day for the whole world to celebrate!

    Oh what a beautiful kitty you are; I absolutely LOVE the newborn, kitten and adult photo transformation you showed all of us; thanks for that. I agree, kitties are worth all the sneezing if you are allergic; you can't trade their love for a few sneezes! Happy New Year Aslan, and happy COTD honors to you.

    Dearest Aslan, what an absolutely gorgeous, stunning specimen of a Maine Coon/Scottish Fold kitty you are! Your photo progression from tiny kitten to big 14-month-old boy is fascinating. Every shot shows an adorable young man. I wish I could reach right through the screen all the way to Nurmijärvi, Finland to pet you (AND your brother) on that luxurious thick orange fur.. and you're the first Finnish cat I can think of that I've seen here! But since I can't reach you, I know your loving and beloved special Purrrson will pet you (and your brother) for me .

    And what a delightful Christmas present you and your brother were for him/her! And how nice that you and your brother got to stay together. You and your young friend love each other dearly, don't you, and she/he doesn't let a little allergy prevent that. Every night you cuddle up together as close as you can to sleep. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

    Oh, what a magnificent animal your precious cat is! Yes, you could say I'm both a cat and dog person so understand your affection for Asian and for calling him your best friend. Enjoy him for many years and maybe you will become immune to his dander and have no more sneezes.

    Beautiful Aslan! You are very good for sure! What a darling, blue-eyed little one you were and what a gorgeous big kitty you are now! I would love to pet your full, fluffy orange coat! I really like your whiskers that are just slightly curvy, your ear tufts (I'm such a sucker for ear tufts!) and your sweet round face! Mmwah, I am sending you a very gentle kiss for your special day! (One for your brother-kitty too, please!) I like your upside-down picture and I smiled when I read about how you snuggle with your person for sleep each night! Purr-fect! Happy New Year and Happy Cat of the Day to magnificent Aslan!

    Oh, what a precious baby you were, what a hunky, handsome big guy you've grown up to be! No doubting your Maine Coon lineage, or your Scottish Fold for that matter. Such a beautiful mix of two beautiful breeds! And having been a mom to both kitties and doggies my entire life, I couldn't agree more with your mom when she says cats are as much man/woman's best friend as are doggies! And a drippy nose, a box of tissues or two, a small price to pay for your love and friendship, the joy you bring to your human's life, each and every day! I can't imagine a more cherished Christmas gift, and I hope that you and brother and human will know countless more wonderful years together!
