    Pictures around my town, December 16

    I wish I could say I took these!

    That is not snow on the branches - it's what we call hoarfrost, a type of frost that forms when there are cold temperatures and fog.

    Beautiful. I've not heard or seen that word "hoarfrost" in a long time.

    Thats the only thing i like about winter is hoarfrost. its so delicate an makes everything seem to look more... i danno,, more glassy/icey than regular snow does. nice shots ^^
