#615 Shut In/time to decorate the Bar Thursday!!

What is going on on either side of the continent? Storms in the West, Snow in the east and I am wearing shorts in the middle!!!

The sun always shines in the bar. The Orc is stoking up the fire, There are blankets on the sofa and I am making cookies, muffins and pot pies.

Hot toddies for the room and maybe a football game on the tube later on...

    -----------

Ed and I are going to venture into the lost and found to get out some ornaments, If we don't come out in a half hour, send the Orc in, please?

We'll do better - we'll send Angel in to get ya! The snow is finally starting to accumulate here - it was fine, tiny flakes most of the day and dissolved when they hit the grass.

We got about 2" of unexpected snow yesterday - it was supposed to be too warm for snow. It snowed like crazy for a couple of hours, and while the roads stayed clear, everything else was covered in the heavy, wet snow. It was so pretty, and actually helped get rid of some of my lack of enthusiasm about the holidays this year.

Richard - my son wears shorts in the winter - whenever possible. He's nuts IMO - I'd be a Popsicle for sure.

Good for you Maggie. Nice to see that you aren't just a fair weather fan.

I'd buy an Eagles ornament for this tree, but it would probably go missing. Three adults and one 18 yr old grandson living here - supporting 4 different teams. And then there is my 22 yr old granddaughter living nearby, who supports an even different team. Would be interesting to have all 5 different ornaments on the tree tho..........

Eagles and Cowboys showdown tonight. I'm nervous but optimistic. Hopefully the Eagles can embarrass the Cowboys with another loss like they served them in Dallas at their last meeting. Now that was darn pathetic - but I loved it!

    GO EAGLES

Hot chocolate anyone? It's cold and gloomy and winter-like here today again, so something to warm the innards will hit the spot!

Hey, I found a bunch of lights, who wants to help string these up? No, not you, Angel. And silly pup, not every bit of greenery is mistletoe - you should ask before dispensing kisses!

Over here with that mistletoe Angel. It's been more than 5 years since I've had wet doggie kisses!
