Beware of chip bags!

Heads up, pet owners! Chip bags are dangerous! A friend’s dog suffocated in a chip bag last night. She has oh - my, she HAD! - a Cardigan Welsh corgi. This is just tragic, has me in tears. During this busy holiday season, when we are running in a 100 directions and have so much on our mind, please be very, very careful about chip and popcorn bags and your dogs.

Please be sure and either put half-finished bags out of reach of your food hounds, or cut bags and place them securely in the trash.

So very sad -- so very tragic. I just can't imagine. For it to happen at all is bad enough - but so close to these happy holidays?? - just heartbreaking.
