    Does your dog like music?

I know a certain pup that does! When Angel gets all wound up, all I have to do is start singing "Sanctuary", a song I learned at Sky Lake, and she always calms right down to the point where she almost falls asleep. But it can only be my voice, because I sing to her when we go for a walk, so she knows my voice when I start singing. When Lady'sOtherHuman (my mom) goes to YouTube to play our favorite accapella music, Angel goes nuts and starts barking.

That's funny that that os her song of choice - we sang that the past two Sundays before church in the "before the prelude music" time!

It is funny how dogs so expect different things form different people! When I was in middle school, I played clarinet, and Gracie would not be bothered by it at all. But the one time my Dad grabbed it to pretend to play it (not being a reed instrument person whatsoever) she got all upset, making all sorts of arooo roo rowlll! noises, and even biting at the bell of the instrument! Dad finally couldn't keep from laughing and had to stop (it is impossible to laugh and play a reed instrument at the same time) and she settled right down!

I can't decide what Lolli's opinion of it is She gets nervous on car rides, so I turn it on, but I have not been able to determine if it helps at all or not
Owned by my baby and heart-dog Lolli.

If each pet we love takes a part of our heart and replaces it with a part of theirs, my heart is a very strange collection of pieces, but I wouldn't have it any other way

Some people believe holding on and hanging in there are signs of great strength. However, there are times when it takes much more strength to know when to let go, and then do it. --Ann Landers

Mine loves to lay and sleep when someone plays the piano but if we play violin she whines and goes to the bedroom...too sharp for her ears I think.

No dogs, but some of my cats like music. Bob likes to be near me when I sing. I've calmed some kitties with music.
