    Gorgeous George!

    What a handsome ebony boy you are, George! You look like a handsome miniature panther with those big gold eyes set in the black fur, even if you do not have a long tail! We are so glad you were rescued from that frightful start in life, and you survived it without becoming a scary or sad kitty! It is great you are so loving and sweet that you knew humans just knew you and Wallace would get along great! You are so shiny and strong-looking now, it is hard to believe you came from such humble beginnings! And we know you message for any fellow black kitties is very important! Have a wonderful day, George, it is your big day of fame!

And what great photos you've posted, showing you off so well. I wish I could reach through the screen to ...wherever you are here in Michigan to pet you! But since I can't, I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you for me .

    And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! We're so glad you were rescued from that dreadful hoarding situation and found your way to your Purrrfect home with your Purrrfect family. Now you have two other kitties, Wallace and Pagan, for company. You and Wallace are great playmates. Then you like to come sit on a handy lap or be held like a baby. You give kitty-kisses, you're an eager purr-er, and you love to cuddle. You and all your family members, human and feline, love each other very much, don't you! What a wonderful love-filled home you share.

    Congratulations, darling George, on being selected today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and Wallace and Pagan and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

    And thank you for your important reminder to all black kitties: stay inside and keep safe over Halloween! You people who have black kitties for company, please keep them inside this week! (They're safest inside all the time, but especially they need to be inside this week.)

    Congratulations to you dear George on being a most special COTD. What a handsome lad you are and most deserving of this honor. Your story and photos brought tears to our eyes, since you remind us of our beloved Kepler, who was also a Manx mix black kitty. He's gone to the Rainbow Bridge, but we still love and miss him so much. Seeing you brought back some special memories. It is so wonderful that you were rescued from that awful hoarding situation. Now you have the furrever home you truly deserve, and for the rest of your life, you will be loved and treasured (as it should be for all kitties).

    It's also wonderful that you and Wallace get along so well. I bet Wallace will help you celebrate your special day today! Enjoy every minute of it. Best wishes to you and your whole family, including Wallace and Pagan too. May you be blessed with many happy and healthy years together.

    P.S. - Our rescue kitty Capella and our foster kitty Mothra send purrs and special best wishes to you. They too were rescued from similar hoarding situations, so they know what you went through there and how lucky you are now. Such rescue kitties seem to make the best and sweetest companions.

    Awww, what a sleek, stunning ebony beauty you are! How striking is the contrast between your sparkling, yellow eyes, and your sleek black coat! You're gorgeous!

    You had a very sad start at life, a heartbreaking kittenhood, not to mention suffering from a bad cold after your rescue! But we're so thankful to all of those who had a hand in helping to re-home you, and I think it's safe to say you hit the forever home jackpot! Your *special person* is special indeed, helping to care for deserving kitties in need, at the shelter where she volunteers, and we're so grateful to her for her dedication, for choosing YOU! And how lucky is brother Wallace, having a best buddy/bro in you!     Your human thought from the get go that you and he would be the perfect match, and how right she was! Not sure how well Pagan is getting along with her brothers, hehe, but hey, brothers are work!

    What a beautiful best friend your family has in you, George! They don't come any sweeter, any more loving than you, and we hope for you and your wonderful family, many, many more happy, love filled years together!
