    Halloween outings

Today the flock of fluffs donned their Halloween outfits and went to 3 places: Slater Park, our vet, and Poppa Nonno at the nursing home. Many pictures were taken!

Here are some photos from Slater. They had their Pet Costume Contest, so there were many dogs in outfits.
This pair of Boxers were a Chef and . . .

    Spaghetti with meatballs!

Here is Santa with an Elf

    Thing 1 was there

Scarlett O'Hara came with Rhett Butler. These costumes were hand made and won a prize.

This Kissing Booth won a prize; apparently, I didn't get a photo from the front, with the pup!

The soldier team also won a prize.

Stand by, more pics to come.

Dawn was there with Tink and Wendy. My apologies, I thought I got her as part of this shot.

Tinkerbell was "Day at the Derby," and Wendy was Audrey Hepburn. They both won prizes in the Fashionista group (2d and 3rd place). The judges favored hand made / home made costumes over store bought.

Here you can see Tink's hat! Notice the BIG Bull Mastiff in a man's jacket, in the background (more on that below).

This group won a prize, they were quite good. I didn't get a group shot though (it isn't easy with 4 dogs, all 5 of us in costume, and lots of OTHER dogs around!) The Groom was an enormous bull mastiff, wearing a jacket and shiny black top hat.

The Bride was Comet, in a pretty bridal gown (found at a yard sale for $5!!) and a veil with flowers. The little Yorkie being carried, upper left, was the Flower Girl, in a cute red dress with a little white apron.

The 'dad' was the Priest, you can see him in this pic on the left, and the 'mom' was the Matron of Honor.

Here you see the back of the Bride, and also you see the Dr Who duo. The baby carriage was decorated as the police booth!

Here my flock meet The Devil!

    More pics coming.

Tasha was a skeleton, Willy was Jack Sparrow, Pirate Captain from Pirates of the Caribbean.

Belle is the Witch, Riley is Tinkerbelle.

Willy looks so handsome in his swashbuckler gear!

    Tasha with her hair piece

Here we are at Slater - Belle is behind my leg, next to Willy.

Sitting waiting for the contest results. Tasha and Riley are in my lap; Riley and Willy are on the ground.

Next we went to our vet office.

Finally, we arrived at Poppa Nonno's place. Here, the fluffs were finally in a place where they knew what was expected of them. We'd been out over 3 hours, and they were ready for an easy time. Willy.

Oh My Goodness! What a day all of you had! I really enjoyed seeing all the photos. I cant get over the cute clever costumes the different dogs were wearing. I think though that I liked your crew the best with their Halloween costumes. Your babies are so cute and sweet. They must have been very tired when you got home. I'll go to photobucket later to see more pics. Thanks for sharing with us.

Wow, Fluffs and your mum! You had a full, fun day! Belle's first Halloween! I bet you were a huge treat to everyone you met at Papa Nonno's care center!

Way too cute. I don't know how you get them to tolerate being dressed up. Heck - I bought Wolfy a little quilted nylon jacket with a hood to put on when it's raining and he has to go out. He acts like he's being punished or something - hangs that head down until it's practically dragging on the ground and doesn't want to move. And the decorative Halloween and Christmas neckware???????? - does not meet with his approval either.

We enjoyed all your cute pictures. What a fun day for humans & their pets. The Fluffs look really cute in their costumes & looked dog tired at the very end, taking naps, cute.
The frost is on the pumpkin & I've been BOO'D by two pet talk ghosts.
    Thank you Fritz & Cassiesmom
