We think it s fun your name Nami could also be short for Tsunami - as you crashed into your people's lives, and hearts like a tidal wave yourself. We know your mom was not planning on getting a kitten that fateful day, but one look at your pretty, soft face, and it was all over! We are so glad you are loved, so your moments of naughtiness are easily forgiven! Keep living the good life, Nami, you are in your forever home for good!

I see (and read) many of the traits of a Maine Coon Cat in Nami-- and if she's part or mostly coon-cat, you're in for a GREAT time! If she's a coon, she'll get bigger- maybe a LOT bigger- but she'll always be smart, affectionate, interactive, playful, and just plain WONDERFUL cat! I've been owned by at least 3 Maine coon cats and they are nonstop love and fun- and they usually are very talkative, too, carrying on whole conversations with you while looking you straight in the eye- great fun!

Oh, my goodness, dearest Nami, what an adorable girl you are! You look very kitteny in all your photos, even if you are now a big, giant ONE YEAR OLD! We're so glad your family brought you HOME from the pet store to join the uromastyx lizards and pink Bourke Parakeet.

You are so pretty with that fluffy multi-colored fur and that sweet face with the long, LOOOOONG white whiskers and ear tufts and those lovely big eyes looking out at us full of love and fun. I wish I could reach through the screen up to Montreal to pet you! But since I can't, I know your loving and beloved family members will pet you plenty for me .

And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have too, little Nami! You are a mighty huntress, chasing your human brother and sister around the house and keeping the home spider-free. I have known and loved many cats. All of them have had that certain beauty which is natural to felines, but it is hard to think of any who looked quite as sweet as Nami.
