    #603, Talk like a Pirate Day/week?

I am back and have had a week of just trying to get things done. Ed went to the vet today, he has a bladder infection, no crystals....thank god.

    ------------------------

I probably am going to go to hell over this, but I heard of the man who lost some fingers in an accident on the Pirates of the Carribean ride.

He is lucky he didn't lose his ARRRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMMMMM?

    --------------

Rum for all me swabbies and let's shove off for a weeklong cruise, we have not had a trip afield in a while......

thanks to all who participated in last weeks thread!!!

My hometown football team were the Pirates - but never won much, the one year we were looking to have a good team, lots of seniors with talent, the team went to prank a teacher's house, egged the wrong house, and then when they tried to drive off quickly, several of them broke or sprained legs falling from the pick-up truck ... the whole back row for the senior yearbook picture was on crutches. So we lost a lot that year, too!

What were the tenor pirate's favorite notes to sing? High C's

Mateys, it is a lovely late summer afternoon and I'm drinking iced tea. Would anyone like some? I haven't sweetened it, but I can do that if you prefer.

I'd have a glass of unsweetened iced tea please and thank you. Super nice weather here. Helps with the cleanup from last weeks snow.

I'm going to avoid trying to talk like a pirate, I've been having enough issues with English today.

I went to ask LOH to pick up tortilla chips to go with the salsa we made. Only problem? I couldn't come up with tortilla chips. Couldn't think of WTH they were. So, I asked her to pick up "You, know, a bag of Doritos without all the stuff on 'em."

For that alone I need a drink. A large drink.

I guess "monkey food" wouldn't fit in the crossword squares?
