    23 Hilariously Unintentional Newspaper Headlines

Some people argue that print media, such as newspapers, is lacking what it takes to survive in the contemporary technology-run world. Since everything is online, newspapers have to focus on being that much more attention grabbing, and headlines are the way to do that. With the quick-paced nature of the editorial world, there is a large margin for error...which results in some pretty funny, even if unintentional, newspaper headlines.

Some of these look old, but ...

My mother was a reporter in the late 1940's, early 1950's and as a woman, was consigned to writing for the "Society" pages. That meant weddings, engagements, funerals, debutants, etc.

After one too many late night sessions, she made a typo that made it past her own checking, two copy-editors, and another editor, into print. Same number of letters, same syllables, first and last letters, but
"Worcester Girl wed in Brookline Cemetery" just is not the same as "Worcester Girl wed in Brookline Ceremony"

Not exactly a headline, but my morning email included an offer from B&N to pre-order the fall's BIGGEST books!!!!

The usual, new releases by big authors, politicians, ad nauseum, but one caught my eye:

Untitled by G.W.Bush, cover to be revealed!
