What Is the World’s Most Livable City? (ATTENTION: Randi!)

    It's COPENHAGEN!!!!!

    From today's New York Times:

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

*getting ready to board a plane to Copenhagen to visit Randi*

Edited to add - for North America, there are two cities in the list of the top 25 and I would like to visit both of them - Vancouver, BC and Portland, Oregon.
Praying for peace in the Middle East, Ukraine, and around the world.

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!

3 German cities among them- Munich on pl 8. But I think you cannot really compare. Living in Tokyo and living in Portland Oregon cannot be compared.

That's true Barbara. And if the list was just the top 20, we wouldn't even be there!

True, it's difficult to compare. Anyway, I liked Copenhagen better in the 70ties and 80ties. One good thing is that bicycle paths are wider now.

I've heard good things about Vienna, Prag and also Vancouver, but have never been there. Cities I really like are, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Oxford and Chicago.

I would love to see some of you here, but unfortunately, I don't have a guest room. However, there are many B & B's in Copenhagen and surrounding area that are not too pricy. Here's one:
