    Ryder says HELLO!

Hi guys! I know it's been a while. Ryder is doing good. He's grown into a stocky, big boned boy. He's about 90lbs. He is definitely a BIG baby. He is definitely "my" kid, always being with me, etc. I don't mind it, it's nice to have company and to have a dog that wants to be with me and just hang out by my side and watch the "world go by." Enjoy a couple pictures of him!

He purrs when I cuddle with him - never had a dog who did that!

Haha yep! I don't mind it one bit.

Just if anyone's wondering - We don't overfeed him with food. He isn't allowed any human food. Except vegetables or fruits. I think we just have given up and agreed that he's just how he is. He is just big boned. We thought we could get him to lose down 10lbs, but it's been a steady 89-90lbs for about 6-7 months now. Oh well, I love my big cuddly boy.

We had a male chocolate lab who was built like that too...not fat, just big!
Owned by my baby and heart-dog Lolli.

If each pet we love takes a part of our heart and replaces it with a part of theirs, my heart is a very strange collection of pieces, but I wouldn't have it any other way

Thanks! Did your vet tell you to get him to lose 10-30lbs?! Our did! We thought he was crazy. Ryder's parents were 75lbs and 95lbs. They were also the same body build like Ryder is! Eesh.

Nope the vet didn't say anything. But back then we had a farm vet who didn't really do more than give him his shots
