    Cafe Miao opened in Copenhagen

The first cat café has just opened in Copenhagen, I must go and visit, it's only 5 min away on a bike. Can hardly wait!

Bear with the Google translation, I only corrected a few things.

"Wednesday. July 30, Miao Hansen opened the doors to its new café, which certainly is going to divide people into two groups: those without allergies and those with. Café Miao is the country's first cat café. Here you can enjoy a Cat Latte with a Miaoffin, cookies and hot dishes are naturally shaped like Hello Kitties and other cats.

The Chinese proprietor assures that her name was Miao before she got the idea for the furry café adventure. She is Danish married, and have always loved cats. And with the curious coincidence of the cat's distinctive sound and her birth name, was the concept at hand. At the café bustles Miao herself around in his pink apron with cat ears on her head and provides just the right mood.

At Café Miao you can cuddle with three cats so far: The black panther, the two-tone and the slightly more dominant gray female, Lego. Soon the three canine café stars will be joined by two new friends that have been donated to the café by a kind soul.

Miao Hansen emphasizes that it is not allowed to bring your own cat at the café, as it can make the current residents to behave aggressively when their territory is being invaded by "foreigners". Guests can also easily enjoy and relax completely with the existing cats strutting around between the chairs, take a nap in one of the trees, scratching or sniffing cat grass on the windowsill."

The first one is a video, but I can't view it - perhaps you can.

Oh, how nice! Can't wait to see your in-Purrrson report, Randi.

What a great coincidence that the proprietor's name actually is Miao, too!

    Best wishes to them all.

You know... I wish I had a house with lots of extra bedrooms, and I would invite you all. However, I think this idea is spreading around the World, so there might be one near you, soon.

When I've been there, I'll post a report.

Lucky Copenhagen cat peeps! We have a cat café scheduled to open pretty soon, here in Montreal, QC, Canada! Supposedly first one in North America. I plan to be one of it's first customers!
