MoFF, I didn't realize that Leonardo was with you that long! I know Grandma was, though. ((HUGS)) You are a wonderful meowmie!

I have just now see this and my heart is breaking. The only fault cats have is that they do not live long eough. R.I.P. Precious Cassie. We will miss you very much here at PT. Please let your Meowmie know that you got to The Brideg just fine and you are having a blast. Elyse, the love never dies. When the time is right, Miss Cassie will lead another kittie to your home. She knows you are a fantastic meowmie!

Thank you so much, katladyd and Auntie MoFF

I received a very sweet card in today's mail. Phesina made a donation to Tree House Animal Shelter in Chicago in memory of Cassie In the mail I got a pretty card announcing the contribution with a hand written note. Thank you sooooo much!

It's been a week and things are going better. My good friend, who lost her kitty right after Easter, also e-mailed me today. She and her husband missed their kitty very much, so they went to the shelter and adopted a kitten She adopted her cat as an adult so they've never had a kitten before, but they do now!

I didn't see this thread until now. Elyse I am so sorry for your loss.

From her Catster page, I could see what a sweet and beautiful girl Cassie was and how special she was to you. She was indeed a lucky girl to have such a loving Momma. I know how much you miss her and how much it hurts to lose her. She is undoubtedly a very special fur angel at the Rainbow Bridge now, watching over you and all her PetTalk friends with so much love.

Sending gentle hugs and loving thoughts and prayers for you and Sweet Cassie
