It's how a pup is raised. Your person truly wanted you, so you are loved.

What a sweet story. Clearly you wanted a girl puppy and you never gave up, worked very hard and your persistence paid off. That says a lot about your fine character I would think, good for you. That being said, YEEEE HA!!! You have a lovely, adorable puppy named Deja who is DOTD! Light up the fireworks and start the parade! Best of luck and many hugs and smooches to sweet Deja.
