    I loved to see your beautiful self on Dog of the Day today and to read about how sweet and wonderful you are! What a great dog you are and you remind me somewhat of one of my own sweet dogs.

    Congratulations on being Dog of the Day, Duchess. That is a great name for you, because you surely look royal. I have never seen a white German Shepherd either. Another reason you are so special. I'll bet all the kids love to come and see you. Have a wonderful day.

    Just like Leon

    Your white GSD reminds me of a dog I had years ago. I lived in Oklahoma, and one day in Tulsa my boyfriend asked if I'd like to see Leon Russell's house. On the gatepost was a sign -- "free puppies". So we went in and chose a pup who had been fathered by Leon's white shepherd. Of course I named him Leon! He was a sweet and loving dog who never harmed a soul and loved everyone, same as yours. Later we had an all-black GSD who was equally sweet. Great breed.
