Do you sleep with your pet?

I must say that I don't sleep with my dog but that she sleeps with me!

Yes - my dog sleeps with me, and on occasion, so do the cats. Lucky my poochie is little - around 12 pounds - since he likes to take his half of the bed space, right in the middle.

It's more like ... my cat sleeps with me, but only when she wants to. When she does, if I'm not in the right position for her to take her exact spot, she will meow and/or walk on me until I wake up and move! Sometimes she just wants to sleep near me but not with me.

Growing up, I was always happy when the dog chose to sleep with me! My first dog, Sheba (best in the whole wide world, bar none would climb up on my bed for a few minutes, but as she was a Shepherd mix, she would then patrol the rest of the house and family until everyone was settled in for the night, then sleep in my parents' bed.

Gracie, however, one of the subsequent family dogs, 3/4 Great Dane, would climb up on my bed at my invitations, and curl herself in a tight little ball by my feet/ During the night, though, I'd wake up pushed against the wall, and she'd be sprawl out across most of the bed! I'l scold her, she;d get down, reposition myself, and she'd climb back up - and repeat!

I think the question is phrased perfectly. Yes I sleep with my pets. They seem to think it is their bed and I am lucky enough to join them in it each night.
We have two 50lbs dogs and two 10lbs cats. They can sleep where ever they want. Usually I wake up with one or both cats on me. And sometimes a dog or two at the foot of the bed.
On the weekends it is usually all 6 of us in the bed at the same time. Taggart prefers to sleep in his crate most of the time with the door open. And Zoee gets on the bed less now days since it's becoming more difficult for her to jump up there.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

My cats sleep with me when they choose to.

The bed is quite crowded, with dogs and cats. They do allow me an 8 inch strip, right on the edge.

I have fallen out of bed more times as an adult with pets than I EVER did as a child!

That's so funny you say that! I was actually thinking about that just the other day. Only problem is....our bedroom doesn't leave much space for steps. The only place to put them would be the foot of the bed, then that would leave a small walk area between the steps and the sliding glass door. And I would probably break a couple toes on the steps and/or the dresser.
She likes to sleep on a very flat pillow I have on the floor on my side of the bed. Plus we have two other dog beds in the house as well. And you know I would help her up there if she really needed me to. She can get down fine, it's the jumping with the back legs that presents the issue. But she can still do it! For now.
If it comes down to it I'll just have to get her a better bed to go next to the bed.

Let's see. LilGirl sleeps in her bed in my bedroom. Sissy sleeps on couch in den. New boy kitten George slept with me for 7 nights (I slept very little) until it was ok for him to be with Sissy in den. I was so happy when I moved George to the den with Sissy and brought LilGirl back to her bed in my bedroom. In previous years I let Luke cat sleep on the bed with me and I just found it difficult to move & sleep.

On most nights we have both dogs and at least 1 of the cats on the bed with us, but if we're lucky all 4

I think we need to upgrade to a king...
