    Whoa! Earthquake

I feel like I'm in Cali! 6.7 off the coast of Vancouver Island. Everything here started to shake. Better hit the bar!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Ugh, that must have been scary! Hope everything is still standing and you're okay!

Glad you posted to show us you are ok!

Don't think you get them too often, sort of like here in RI, they are rare and a big deal no matter the size!

We're all glad to hear from you and to know you're okay!
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

She's on the West Coast, so is part of the Pacific Rim, also known as the "Ring of Fire" - remember Mt. St. Helen's eruption? So she is more likely to get earthquakes of consequence than we are in New England - we get teeny ones, of little consequence.

A friend recently posted a link to here: http://www.iris.edu/seismon/

Which has a live map on Siesmic activity on the globe

And you can se the yellow circle near Slick, whereas we get pretty much nothing!

If you click the link, it is a live map, and you can click to see a bigger version, or to zoom in closer!
