Thursday #580 Not a "peep" from you!!!!

Sorry about the delay, Nothing like life to get in your way?

    -------------

This week we are going to celebrate Peeps....that pillow-y, marshmallow-y candy that is the favorite of small children and the bane of adults,
    all over.

I went into the store and saw a display of Peeps and saw.....ready?.....Bubble gum and sour watermelon flavored Peeps!

And yes - please do not tell anyone - they are true to the package description. The Sour Peeps were good, the BG flavored ones, when opened and left to the elements, harden up and taste and chew just like a piece of bubble gum.

So, with that bit of news? I'll open the bar.

    ----------

    DONE!
Let me get some hot water going and put together a breakfast for everyone........

Peeps make me think of Gini!

Q of P, i'll drink iced tea with you. Palm Sunday services this morning were very nice, I'm thirsty from lots of singing.

I was just pointing out today to a regular church member that if you pay attention, you will notice that choir members skip the goodies and head straight for the liquids after service, before any socializing!

THe slave labor are earning their keep today, spreading crusher run in the driveway (mixed size gravel) so we're not parking on jello.

I'll take a glass of wine please?

I picked up 3 boxes of the new flavored peeps to try on the crew here ~~ sour watermelon, bubble gum, and blue raspberry. They're colorful too! They also had sweet lemonade and one that was some kind of cake. The sour watermelon sounds good to me - I love sour hard candies, so I'm anxious to see what this tastes like.

So now I'm going to have my healthy snack -pineapple Greek yogurt over pineapple chunks and mandarin orange segments. Beats that bowl of ice cream any day - IMO! Anyone want to join me? I have strawberry Greek yogurt too, if that's more to your liking. Over a sliced banana???? - YUM!
