    Mom's just fine!

For those who have been following this item, my mom had her surgery today. It took just over an hour and all went well. We expect she'll come home tomorrow.

She is very groggy, but shortly before I left she told me, "Drive carefully. You're under more stress than you realize."

Yup, she's fine. Her last act before they wheeled her down the hall to the OR was to adjust my sweater collar because it had gone askew.

Thank you so much for all the good wishes, thoughts and prayers.

    Hallelujah! That's wonderful news, Candace!

Please give your mom a kiss for me. Continuing prayers and well-wishes for her.

It doesn't matter how old you get, she is still your mother! Glad she is doing well, that must be a relief for you both!
