    Joey the Survivor!

    Hi Joey! Happy Dog of the Day to you! What an utterly adorable boy you are, Joey! My first dog as a child was a Spaniel mix named Snuffy, and just like you she was a rescue, and the most beautiful, sweetest pup imaginable, simply irresistible! What a horrific start you had at life, Joey! Thank goodness your guardian angel led your rescuers to you in time, making way for your forever family to find their way to you! You couldn't have hoped for more caring, devoted humans, Joey, and we give great thanks to them for doing all that was necessary to heal you! It's great to hear you've fully recovered, back up on all fours, full of energy and spunk, living life to its fullest, being the life of the party! And how extra special that you have your very own beach to romp on! Ahhh, what a life, and no doggie is more deserving than you, sweetheart! Thanks for brightening my dark, snowy day, sweetheart! Hope you're enjoying your much deserved day of honor, celebrating with the family and your (small) doggie pals, being treated to all your BIG heart desires and more!!! Lots of love, cuddles and kisses to you, adorable Joey!

    Mr. Joey, what a handsome fellow you are! I like your happy face and your plume tail! I'm glad that you have come through your surgery and are back on your feet, enjoying life -- especially hanging out at the beach with other dogs and protecting your person!
