What a treat it has been, meeting your beautiful Torti self this morning! I smiled from ear to ear reading your human's heartfelt tribute to her/his shelled buddy; learning of that first meeting at the Critter Cabana (), how you came to be named, the details of your daily routine, your "silly" quirks! What a very unique, extra special 4 legged friend your family has in you, Professor! And knowing the impressive life span of tortoises, it's great to know that for many, many more years to come you will continue to bring countless smiles and laughs, enjoyment, to your humans' days! Keep up the good work, Professor, being such a special best friend to your family! Enjoy your well earned day in the spotlight, motoring about the house, napping in your deluxe tank, stuffing your face in that yummy, "squishy" catfood, being spoiled rotten! I loved reading about you and seeing your wonderful pictures. I'm a big fan of box turtles. When I used to still drive my car, I would always stop when I saw one trying to cross the road. I'd then get out and escort him safely across!!! I could not stand the thought of them being hit by a car. No worry about me eating turtle soup, ever!!! It sounds like you have a wonderful home and loving guardian. Please thank him/her for sharing you with us.
