Amazing! I suspect you live in the country, not in a city.

    Let's see, dogs:
Lassie - rough coat collie, tricolor sable. Got her when I was age 5, she passed when I was age 12
Princess - Dingo look alike / act alike. She lived 17 years, had what we now call canine cognitive dysfunction at the end.
Sammy (Samantha) - shepherd collie mix. Was my Nonno's dog, and when he died I kidnapped her and brought her home (without asking my folks first!). We had her AND Princess for the last 4 years of Princess's life, and Sammy would look out for Princess, scraped the water bowl if it was empty then leave and it was Princess who was thirsty! Sammy lived with us 6 years in all. I now suspect she had Cushings.
    Sugar - bichon frise
    Lacey - bichon frise
    Marlin - bichon frise
    Ozzy- bichon frise
Ben - bichon frise - technically, my one week foster; I had started the paperwork to adopt him, when we learned he had cancer and he was PTS.
    Tasha - bichon frise
    Willy - bichon frise
Riley - poochon - miniature poodle x bichon frise

Tony aka Tony - pup - bichon frise

    Cats
    Amber - Mr. Amber Cat
    Sparkle
    Vita
    Chestnut
    Ruffles
    Billy
    Cuddles
    Crystal
    Ebony
    Bobby
    Chaplin
    Tommy
    Tuppence
    Mandy

Numerous fish over the years. Currently have a 68 liter aquarium with 14 tetras.

And you are correct! I have also moved 8 times in 23 years, so not all were in one place.

Wow, I moved with 4 cats and found that awkward - from apartment to the house I bought, less than ONE MILE away. I can't imagine relocating goats! LOL

Gosh, I don't know if I can remember all of them, but lets see...

    Dogs:
Hidi: Doberman. The first dog I had as a kid. She was born the same day as me!
Bandit: GSD/wolf hybrid. Beautiful dog, went to the bridge way too soon.
Sadie: Basset hound. She was a hoot!
Lady: Cocker spaniel. Pain in the butt but I loved her all the same.
Odie: English springer spaniel. Awesome dog, great friend.
Blue: Doberman. He was my pal all through middle school and high school. Best friend a person could ever have
Shiloh: GSD/wolf hybrid. Another great dog. He lived to be almost 20!

    Cats:
Tiggus and Crybaby: A pair of sister cats my mom had when I was born.
Momma Bear: an outdoor cat that I adopted as a kid.
Remus: My first cat as an adult. He got adopted by a sweet old lady
    Spook: Still owned by her.
Hoodini: Adopted by someone who really got along with him
    Isis: still owned by her

    Small critters:
Ratso: first rat my brother had but I adopted him unofficially
Maxwell: my very first rat that I got on my own
Chestnut: a chipmunk my mom rescued
Cinders and Cocoa: two sister rats I adopted at the same time
Cleoratra: first rat me and the hubby got as a married couple
Banana: Awesome rat I adopted from a PT member!
    Salazar: A snake
Rogue: Awesome rat that went to the bridge way too soon
Torias Dax: Leopard gecko and beautiful soul.
Rodney McKay: My current hamster buddy (intro thread in this forum!)
Leonard: Beta fish. Pretty neat guy for a fish
Various fishes: Lots of tropical fish over the years

    I think that's it!

I'll just list the ones that I've had as an adult. However, growing up we always had an outside dog and a few outside cats.

Luke1 was my first inside cat, a Siamese that I got in 1970 maybe (long time ago, cant recall). Luke1 is not to be confused with Luke2 that died in 2012. Luke1 lived 15 yrs.

Sally was my first inside dog, a mini doxie, such a sweet loving dog. She lived 17 yrs.

Then came Honey dog, a rat terrier, who only lived 10 years. It was such a shock when she died of a heart problem. I took a bath & came to the couch where she was lying & I said "Honey, move over sweetie", and she was dead. After that I said I was not going to get another dog... but I got LilGirl.

I got Luke2 cat while Honey was still living. He was so mean to her, jumped on her back, and scratched her twice until he knew I would be very cross with him and he would get a "whupping" if he did it again. He was older with LilGirl and Sissy and usually it was Sissy who would "torment" him. Luke died in 2012; he was 11 yrs old

Annie dog came here on her own in 2006. She was a stray, very skinny, covered with ticks and looked so bad and was very skittish but we could tell she just wanted a home (and food). She is a wonderful dog and so patient with the little ones who adore Annie.

Then came LilGirl, a rat-chi who is with us now. Let's see, got her about 5 yrs ago.

In 2012 I couldn't resist cutie Sissy Pom. I got her thinking LilGirl and Sissy would be best buddies and that LilGirl would love to have a playmate (I was wrong). Well, it's taken about two years and they finally will stay in same bed for a few minutes but they are not best buds, maybe one day.

I also have 3 pet goats in their own fenced in lot where coyotes and dog cant get them. I also have 6 goldfish in an outside little pond. If the goldfish make it to May 2014, they'll be 3 yrs old.

Cheif (yellow lab) and Muffin (black lab)-dogs my parents had when I was born.
    Cookie (Jack Russel)
Biscuit (St. Bernard) and Bagel (Jack Russel)-I know, unlikely team. Bagel was the BOSS! Lol
    Lady (beagle)
Lolli (lab/samoyed mix)-best dog we ever had!
    Snicker (English Bulldog
    Fudge (chocolate lab)
    Copper (beagle)
    Lolli-(English Springer Spaniel)
    Buddy (English Springer Spaniel)

Had so many cats I couldn't begin to count them! They were barn cats. Lots of goats, chickens and steers who's names I don't recall.
    Moriah (goat)
    Star and Bright (heifers)
    Bobby and Dixie (draft horse/mixes)
Charcoal, Oreo, Lilac and Precious (rabbits)
and a guinea pig who's name I cannot remember. He was the first pet who was exclusively mine, and I loved him!
    Pete (steer)
    Misty (goat)

I miss the days of living on a farm where we could have so many pets. It's just Lolli now.
Owned by my baby and heart-dog Lolli.

If each pet we love takes a part of our heart and replaces it with a part of theirs, my heart is a very strange collection of pieces, but I wouldn't have it any other way

Some people believe holding on and hanging in there are signs of great strength. However, there are times when it takes much more strength to know when to let go, and then do it. --Ann Landers

Wow, my list is long but not quite THAT long.

    Dogs:
    Pepper
    Sam
    Blue
    King
    Boo
    Bigfoote
    Chaz
    Kodi
    Pepsi

    Cats:
Actually, this list is too long to type out. At one time we had all three of our female cats were pregnant and had babies at the same time. So we had 18 cats total for a while.
We also lived in the country and (obviously) didn't get our cats fixed.

We've had horses, pigs, chickens, turkeys, bunnies, goats and a cockatiel. Oh, my sister had a guinea pig for a while.

    In my adult life:
    Dogs:
    DJ
    Zoee
    Taggart

    Cats:
    Jinx
Jasper/Jasmine/Jazz (same cat just several names)
    Taz
    Paizly
    Jax
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Cindy (Human) - Taz (RB Tabby) - Zoee (RB Australian Shepherd) - Paizly (Dilute Tortie) - Taggart (Aussie Mix) - Jax (Brown & White Tabby), - Zeplyn (Cattle Dog Mix)
