    Eleanor gets spayed tomorrow

I think I'm more nervous than anything since last time I brought a dog to the vet and came out without one was when I had to put Autumn down. I don't even think I will be able to pick Eleanor up tomorrow afternoon unless they let me come an hour earlier, I have work. My sister will pick her up if I can't. I took her to the dog park today for one last good romp before 2 weeks of recovery. Here's some recent pics of her.

I bought her some pajamas and made her try them on

Action shots of her and Hlao

Sorry I didn't get back to a computer until now. Eleanor came back fine. The office ladies at the vet were sad to see we came to get her, they all wanted to keep her. She's not to thrilled to wear a lampshade on her head but she won't stop trying to itch it. She has staples instead of stitches and the day after the incision looked great but now its a little red around it. I'm probably just being a worried mommy though. It was pretty tough seeing her the first night because she was still quite drugged. Our vet doesn't keep them overnight. It definately reminded me of my last few days with Autumn with her wrapped up in a blanket and totally out of it. I'm glad she only gets spayed once. Thanks everybody for your good thoughts.

Last night I got a little worried. Her belly was firm and a little swollen, but this morning it is back to looking fine. I think it may have been like a suture reaction but I don't know that they do that with staples. I can bring her in anytime though if it gets bad. Here she is being naughty, she jumped up on the bed and landed herself back in her kennel for a while for being too jumpy. Its got to be really itchy because she sometimes jumps around really fast to try and get to it.

It is good to hear Eleanor is on the mend. She is a cutie & I can see how they fell in love with her at the vets office.
The frost is on the pumpkin & I've been BOO'D by two pet talk ghosts.
    Thank you Fritz & Cassiesmom
