Cat Logic: Callie and I have a routine

Callie has been in my bedroom for a while. For the last 18 months she has been skittish. This UTI illness has brought out the need for some daily attention. At first I had to wrest her from under the bed and hold her fora long while, half and hour or more. Then she would eat.

These last few weeks she has been feeling much better. She is usually waiting on the bed for me. She won't jump in my arms just yet. I hold her for less than a minute, then she jumps down to eat the wet food I just brought in. She gets some scritches while she is at the bowl, then I leave.

This repeats every time I feed her. I also check on her between feedings and hold her for a bit. She won't walk up to me and expects me to manhandle her into my arms, but it's a start.

I just find cat thinking to be hilarious.

    Awwwwwww, Callie!!!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Callie, that's a good routine... but you can improve it by staying a little longer in your mom's arms, or perhaps have her lay down with you on the bed for a good cuddle.

Bed and tarp need a good cleaning. Now that she is using the box, hopefully i can do just that.
