    Rip maya linn

    My beautiful Seal Lynx Point Torbie, Maya Linn went to the Bridge this afternoon. She went down hill VERY fast. This morning she was bobbing her head back and forth like Stevie Wonder and kept falling down. I tried giving her turkey baby food and she couldn't see the plate. I took her back to the vet and he determined that she had, in fact, gone blind and was caused by some kind of brain tumor. The second opinion had the same findings.

    My heart is broken. I've had her since she was 8 weeks old. She was found in the dumpster along with her mama and brother at the San Juan airport in PR.

    Maya went on to win "National Best Household Pet Kitten" in the A.A.C.E cat shows.

    Maya, I will miss your premium purr that helped me drift off to sleep while my head was buried deep in your belly. It's just not the same without you.

    Awww, rest in peace, pretty girl. You had a long 16 years being loved and adored, and surely you are healthy and whole again, on a soft pillow up at the Rainbow Bridge. Send Donna some purrs in her dreams, so she knows you are watching over her, okay?

    I'm so very sorry for your loss, Donna. I know how hard it is. Be comforted that she didn't suffer a long and painful illness, and know that she's at the RB taking a rest, before she finds all her new companions.

    Maya Linn didn't have to spend a shortened life in the dumpster. She had a long and loving life with you.

    It is NEVER long enough, I know. I just wanted to say - you done good. Maya Linn was the luckiest kitty because she had a home with you.
