    Just some Wildlife Pics...

    I was just walking around the nature center I work for after work one day and came across a few interesting photos subjects! Most of these are of a Little Green Heron with a few water fowl shots. They were very cooperative. The white bird is a Great Egret. The Big one on the log is a Great Blue Heron, and the smaller one with the fish is a young Green Heron. You can tell he's young because his chest isn't solid brown.

    The pic of him/her with his mouth open and head upwards is when he was swallowing. Swallowing a little catfish whole must be difficult!

    Cool, we don't have egrets this far North! And thanks for identifying the Little Green Heron!
