Happy Birthday, dear Randi ... Happy birthday to you! Hope you are enjoying your day! (To Randi's cat-sitting buddies Oscar and Bourgeoise... please give your special visitor some extra purrs, lovies and head-bumpies!)

Thank you... also for your greetings on FB. I appreciate it.

I had a nice relaxing day, with a few visits and phone calls from friends I don't see often. Managed to make that Pecan Pie, but it was rather sweet, so next time, I'll try to get the right syrup.

Elyse, I will be cat-sitting Oscar again this coming weekend, so will try to get some more pics of him.

Btw, I just posted some new pics of Storm here: http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthre...block-a-Bengal

    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Pecan pie is always very sweet. Glad you had the birthday "cake" of your choice!

    Thanks!

It's the very first time I made a Pecan Pie and I didn't know it was supposed to be that sweet - well, preparing the ingredients, I should have guesses it! May try again some time, though, but will change the recipe a bit. Might even try with walnuts or hazelnuts.
