    Moppi

I am now crying for the beautiful Moppi. What a young age to have to go to the Rainbow Bridge. Know he'll be there waiting for you so that the two of you can cross it together. What a heart breaker this was.

What a handsome boy you were Moppi! I'm sorry to hear your life ended much too soon.
I hope seeing you as COTD will make this a special day for your family.

    His Majesty

Moppi was so beautiful, I would have call him His Majesty.

    Handsome Guy!

Thanks for sharing Moppi's story with us. A friend lost her 1 1/2 year old Maine Coon to a similar heart problem so I know how painful the loss is.

Dearest Moppi, what a beautiful big grey Maine Coon you are! We are so sorry you had to leave for the Bridge so very early. You are so special not just to your owner but to me too and I think all of us.

What an utterly loving fellow you are! Your human tells us of so many things you did to make him/her and all who met you smile... being such a big cuddler, chewing on shoes, training the new kitten, exploring the bags of strangers, making friends with the vet's employees.. and you were/are so loving to all who met you and especially your owner, loving him/her like no other being on earth. You were, as your Purrrson says, "a true 'Gentle Giant', possessing all the good character traits that are typical in Maine Coon cats." And you still are, just in a different form now.

Now you are a glorious Angel, at the Rainbow Bridge where you are healthy and whole again, and you brighten the heavens and are waiting to welcome your dear Human HOME, One Fine Day..

Congratulations, darling Moppi Angel, on being selected today's Cat of the Day! We know that all the Angels celebrate with you, and we hope your beloved Purrrson and the new kitty you helped raise and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine day of celebration.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

What a beautiful, handsome boy - even his face looks so gentle with those soft green eyes.

Sadly, Maine Coons are prone to heart defects. I am sorry you found out in the worst way possible. May you have many happy memories of majestic Moppi to carry you through. He will live forever in your heart.
