    Some of my Nature Photos!

I've attached them because when I uploaded them to Photobucket they weren't clear at all. Some of the ones on full-zoom aren't very clear but they're still cool. Most of them are animals, in fact I think they all are LOL. Click to enlarge!

1.) Is an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail
2.) Is a Clearwing Butterfly Moth, yeah that one isn't the best but they NEVER stop moving.
3.) is a Eastern Goldfinch, which is also the NJ State Bird!
    4.) Is a female ruby-throated hummingbird!
5.) Is what I believe to be the same hummingbird in the first picture flying!

Now, this picture is horrible, but I took this for a sample shot. This is a Bald Eagle that lives near the nature center I work at (I DO take my camera to work often) and this is over a half mile away! So this was sort of just a zoom test shot!

This is a Belted Kingfisher, I was so excited to see this bird, they're one of my favorites and I've only seen one. But I heard him calling and almost flipped out when I saw him! They aren't even rare but I just love them.

Now this is one of the two eaglets that the Bald Eagle Pair where I work had this year. I wanted to get pictures of them before they get kicked out in September, so I went on a hunt. This is blurry because I was on full-zoom but I DID find him! He was across a busy road in a refuge area where I wasn't allowed to enter. I didn't want some game warden catching me and giving me some wildlife charge when I want to eventually work for the fish and wildlife service so this is the best I could do lol.

And last but not least, my favorite place ever, and the place I work.

Anyway, thanks for looking, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I liked taking them!

First photo, butterfly bush with a butterfly - saw the exact same thing in my Dad's backyard over the weekend. I planted the butterfly bush there about 12 years back. So when did you pop in to take this picture? LOL

The photos are grand. And the long distance eagle shot is amazing when you learn how far away the bird is!

The seals look rather bored by the whole photo shoot thing, perhaps it was their nap time?

Great pictures, thanks for sharing. I'm very glad you got the new camera, now we can see where you work and all the wildlife! Kingfisher - do you know the song about them? I LOVE Schooner Fare, lol.

I really enjoyed looking at your pictures too. Thank you for sharing them. That bullfrog made me smile. So cute.

Time helps the sadness subside, but the memories remain forever.

And I love that last picture of the trees in the water! What an awesome place!

    Thank you guys

Sandie, I didn't know there was a song about the King Fisher, how interesting LOL. and it was really late, I think around 9:50 PM for them I guess. The aquarium is open from 10 AM - 10 PM which is sort of late, so I guess that's why they were just so tired. They worked so hard

Lovely photos! You're lucky you live in a place with such diverse wildlife.. and I am still super jealous of your job.
You should share photos more often!

Thanks for showing us the pictures. I enjoyed each and every one of them. It seems (and I've heard others say) that there are more butterflies this year than last year. Great pics; I'm sure you're enjoying your camera.

Thank you guys! Haha Courtney, I love my job, I just wish it was full-time with benefits

I also made a video of some birds I saw at the National Wildlife Refuge here in NJ, it's only a minute or so and it's pretty boring but it came out pretty good for someone who's never edited before. These were all taken on Tuesday, at a place in South Jersey which is AMAZING for birders. The birds in the video are Great Egret and Osprey. The group of Osprey is a family. I believe the one eating is mom and the two babies are chicks that have grown fully and shall be leaving the nest soon, I suppose when the parents go to migrate. You should have seen them earlier in the summer, they were so little! People always tell me how lucky I am to work in a place and see Bald Eagles every day but too tell you the honest truth, while I love the Eagles and watching them, I think my favorite will always be the Osprey! They're so fascinating and beautiful. I think the eagles are beautiful as well, of course, but they're a close second
