    A few fluff photos - Aug 27, 2013

These first pics are from August 9, just never got to sharing them.

I had some watermelon, cut up the rind and gave the pups a piece each - IN THE KITCHEN. Willy of course took his piece onto the sofa.

It met with his approval! Of course, any sort of food DOES!

These are from the last 2 days.

Been up at Dad's house again. I was working on the garage, so the dogs were NOT pleased. They have to be WITH me, not just see and hear me. I think the entire neighborhood knew I was up there working!

Tony has his back to me, next to him is Tasha then Willy. Riley is in back on the left.

Now Tony is over on the left.

    And photos inside:
The boys hanging out on the table in front of the picture window. Tony had also been lying down, the opposite way, but moved when I got up to get the camera.

    Beautiful Tasha

    Riley thinks I am hilarious!

    And Riley on the sofa

    That's all!

Awww, they are just as cute as can be. I love the one of them protesting in the pen outside.

Wills, I laughed right out loud when I saw how the melon met with your approval! Fluffs, you didn't like supervising your mum from a distance

I remember Ramanth looking at me like I was crazy when I asked her if I could give Chipper and Kia a hunk of watermelon rind! She didn't know some dogs love them ... and Chipper has some food intolerances, but she gave me dubious permission ....

Chipper chomped his down with glee and asked for more in about 30 seconds! Kia, the princess, sniffed her and walked away ... classic!

I've heard that story a few times and have started to give it to my pups when I have it. Another great PT share!

Love the pictures, they're all so cute but I have trouble telling them apart---except for Willy with the wet face from his watermelon...that had me in tears. If you lived close by I would take Tony in a jiffy, males and females always get along. I'm thinking of having the other pup I took in spayed...and yes, I know it won't help the fighting but it's a last resort and one can always hope. I found out no one wants her because she's black-had no idea people didn't go for black dogs. Pretty silly because she would make such a great companion for someone who is alone or just a couple, even with a male dog she would be fine.

    Thanks for posting, Asiel.

Yes black dogs and black cats have a tough time getting homes. Part of it is, it is difficult to see their facial expressions.

    Thanks for looking !

One of the sweetest little dogs to ever walk the face of this Earth was black. Her name was/is Myndi.

It looks like Sandie does a darn good job of rescuing the black cats, tho.

I'm just busting chops here, ladies........... I didn't take any offense to the comments.

    No offense taken, Ellie.

Apparently, even other animals find it difficult to read the facial expressions of black faced animals. Which is a good thing for the blackie as a predator! This is why the vast majority of feral cats have black faces. It works to their advantage.
