    Thursday #541, Carnival Time.

I have had the urge to go to a carnival lately.

I want to ride a Ferris Wheel, eat funnel cakes, cotton candy and a 10 pound bun.

    ----------

SPF 50, a hand full of tickets and a floppy hat.

    Who wants a sno-cone?

    I laugh, therefore? I am.

A few years ago at Epcot in Disney World I had a Grand Marnier slushy. Don't know the prep but probably a frozen version of this:

    1 jigger Grand Marnier
    1 jigger simple syrup
    1 jigger lemon juice
    Ice

Blend all ingredients in a blender on high and serve with a lemon or orange slice. This looks scaleable.
I've been finally defrosted by cassiesmom!

How about an Arnold Palmer? Equal parts sweet tea and lemonade. That seems to me like it might be way too sweet, though. I've never had one.

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!

We're in the midst of Stampede here. Lots of cowboys and cowgirls, rides and the most unimaginable things deep fried. Met with a headhunter today, hopefully she can help me find a job. Could I get an iced tea please, rather warmish today.

    I'll have a Sno-cone! Rainbow-colored, please!

Glad Calgary is carrying on with the "Stampede" after such horrible flooding earlier this summer!

Most everything is as it was planned to be. With the exception of the big name concerts. They were all cancelled as the flooded out Saddledome is in very bad shape.
