    RIP sweet old man Elan

My sweet Elan went to the Bridge yesterday. He saw the vet and it was determined that he had cancer and was in renal failure. He was deaf, partially blind and only weighed 4 lbs. His yowling told me he was in pain. He was almost 20 years old. It was then that I had to make the ultimate decision to help him to the Bridge. He went very peacefully in my arms.

While you were only with me for 6 months, I gave you the best 6 months I could. You didn't want for anything. The house is so quiet without you. I miss you waking me up at 5 a.m. to eat and sitting on the futon with your paws wrapped around my hand while you slept.

Play hard at the Bridge my beautiful old man. You knew love for such a short time and brought me such joy and pleasure. I will never forget you.

Rest In Peace Casey (Bubba Dude) Your paw print will remain on my heart forever. 12/02
Mollie Rose, you were there for me through good times and in bad, from the beginning.Your passing will leave a hole in my heart. We will be together "One Fine Day". 1994-2009
MooShoo, you left me too soon.I wasn't ready.Know that you were my soulmate and have left me broken hearted.I loved you like no other. 1999 - 2010See you again "ONE FINE DAY"
Maya Linn, my heart is broken. The day your beautiful blue eyes went blind was the worst day of my life.I only wish I could've done something.I'll miss your "premium" purr and our little "conversations". 1997-2013 See you again "ONE FINE DAY"

I am so sorry. At least you can take peace in knowing the last 6 months he was much loved by you.

    RIP Elan
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Donna, you gave dear Elan everything he could want...food, a hand to hold while he slept, and even lower litter boxes for his old limbs. He had the best 6 months of his life with you.

Rest happy and loved, sweetest Elan. Play healthy and joyfully at the Bridge.

I'm so sorry, Donna, but you gave Elan a beautiful six months of love. Take heart in that.

Elan, play well at the Bridge, sweetheart, your Meowmie would appreciate hearing from you on occasion.

I agree completely. Elan knew he was much loved for these past six months. I enjoyed knowing him as a PT Kitty for the time he was with you. ((((HUGS)))) Elan, you are a very special gentleman and you were loved by a truly amazing meowmie, who introduced you to us.
